Entrance to UNITECH administration building
Students at the University of Technology look to be boosting their show of strength by reaching out to their counterpart universities to join their protest.

The student leader at Unitech, president Eddie Nagual says that he has been in talks with his other university counterparts and says that a nationwide university protest seems to be the next step for them.

He says that a joint statement will be released from the interim National Union of Students president Bobby Yupi on the joint effort that the NUS will take with regards to the Unitech situation.

Nagual says that at present the campus is quiet, adding that the main gate as well as the administration building are still closed.

Meantime, student leaders who have travelled to carry out awareness in the Highlands and joining Momase provinces, are also anticipated to bring in support in terms of pledges from the communities that they visited.
